Tuesday Continued and Wednesday morning

Spent the day in a couple of small museums and happened on two beautiful old catholic churches. Photos to follow.  I had lunch at the end of a little open air market and sat at the cafe and wrote for over an hour. The waiter was kind enough to give me extra paper.  The sandwich was brie, chicken and cucumber (not the contaminated ones obviously). I left the house and 10:30 and got back at 3:00.  At the cafe, I closed my eyes and listed to the sounds of the streets: clicking heels, scooters, murmur of many languages and  laughter, lots of laughter.  Got back to the apartment just in time to get an email from Rob, "Meet me at Leidseplein ( a large plaza with street performers and a great Irish Pub).  back on the tram for a few drinks and we were treated to a group of Brazilian dance performers, lovely.  Then a nice relaxed dinner at the apartment.  I waited up to speak with Trevor, her gets out of school 1:00am our time.   Well off to today's stops: hidden courtyards and some more searching for anything WWII for Trev.
